Flotinovo, Bulgaria, a set on Flickr.
Flotinovo, Bulgaria was the last village I was lucky enough to visit on my trip. A big thanks to Swain and his Boba (spelled wrong I’m sure- but, awesome Bulgarian Grandma lady that he lives with while in the Peace Corps) for putting us up and serving us ridiculously delicious food. Flotinovo is a bit bigger than Osikovo, the other main village I was able to spend time in. I went a LITTLE over board on theme with my picture taking as you will see as it is clearly about the awesome splashes of color that you find in Bulgaria. Flotinovo just had perrfect examples. The first couple of photos are actually from the town of Batak (sp?) that we stopped in for an afternoon. Enjoy!
